Here at Peonies & Polka Dots we love paper and pretty things.  As true believers that details make good things great, our invites, stationary and party decor is designed to help transform any and all of life’s celebrations into memorable moments.

Located just outside Detroit, Michigan in a smallish but totally rockin’ town named Royal Oak, we spend our days dreaming about polka dots and stripes, whimsical calligraphy and glitter.  Oh yes, definitely and always glitter.  So whether you’re coordinating a photoshoot for your kidlet’s first birthday, planning a shower for a kidlet to be, or preparing a dream wedding, we are here to help add all the finishing touches.

Like so many other great tales our story was started all because two people fell in love. In January of 2014 owner Annie Wise was a college tennis coach, graduate student, newly engaged and struggling to find invitations for her upcoming July wedding.  After searching near and far she decided to design and create an invite suite that perfectly reflected her style and Peonies & Polka Dots was born.

    MEET ANNIE

Annie is a Michigan native born and raised in a small town about an hour North of Detroit.  Before her passion for pretty paper goods, Annie’s first love was tennis.  As her parents met playing the sport it soon became a family affair and Annie and her sister enjoyed spending weekends on the court in heated rivalry.  Annie continued a successful playing career eventually earning a full scholarship to the University of Detroit.

It was the summer before college when Annie met Matt at a local tennis tournament.  While she didn’t know it then, she was about to add another love to her life. Although it took 10 years for their friendship to blossom into romance Annie and her perfect match tied the knot in July of 2014.

Shortly after their wedding Annie completed her MBA and left her coaching position at her college alma mater to pursue Peonies & Polka Dots.
